PRIVACY POLICY

Streamframe Corporation (‘Streamframe”) is committed to maximizing your experience on our websites, online forums, and any software instances we may create on your behalf, collectively (the “Sites”), within a trusted environment. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, protect, use and share information gathered about how you when you use the Sites. We hope this disclosure will help increase your confidence in the Sites and enhance your experience. Please note that this Privacy Policy applies to information submitted and collected online at the Sites and to our offline practices. It does not apply to websites maintained by other companies or third parties that we link to from the Sites.

 

 (1) What types of information does Streamframe collect and how will it be used?

We collect information that identifies you when you register for a personal account accessible through a confidential password and user name that you select, when you make a purchase or contact us for services, support or information. We also may collect your IP address, browser type, access times and referring website address.

From time to time, we may post on the Sites job openings at Streamframe and provide an e-mail address to which interested applicants can submit their résumé. Although we can assure you that any information contained in the e-mail and résumé will be used solely for its intended purpose (i.e., to evaluate the applicant’s qualifications), such information is not subject to this Privacy Policy.

No matter what method we use to collect information and no matter how we use that information, we will only collect the information deemed reasonably necessary to fulfill your online requests and our legitimate business objectives.

Streamframe will only use your personal information to provide you with Streamframe services, or to communicate with you about such services or the Sites. With respect to any assets or documents you may choose to upload, we take the privacy and confidentiality of such seriously. If you choose to make a document or asset public, we recommend you redact any and all references to people and addresses, as we cannot protect public data and we are not responsible for any violation of privacy law you may be liable for.

 

(2) Streamframe does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13

The Sites are not directed to children. Streamframe does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age you should not use the Sites, and under no circumstances should you send information about yourself to Streamframe. If Streamframe discovers that a child under the age of 13 has provided Streamframe with personally identifiable information, Streamframe will immediately delete that child’s personally identifiable information from the Sites and preclude the child from further access.

 

(3) What happens if I refuse to provide my personal information to Streamframe?

If you choose not to submit personally identifiable information when requested, you may not be able to access certain areas of the Sites and you may considerably limit the services we can provide you. However, to simply access the Sites you do not need to give us any personally identifiable information.

 

(4) Does Streamframe use cookies or other means to collect information?

You will know when personally identifiable information is collected because you will be asked to fill out a form. However, we may collect some information about you by using data collection technology while it may not be readily apparent to you that it is being collected. For instance, when you come to the Sites, your IP address is collected so that we know where to send the information you are requesting. An IP address is a number that is used by computers on the network to enable your computer to communicate on the internet. To ensure the highest standards of privacy and security, we do not store personally identifiable information within cookies.

We do not share personal information you have provided to us without your consent unless:

Streamframe is operated from the United States. If you are visiting the Sites from outside the U.S., you agree to any processing of personal information you provide us according to this policy.

 

From time to time, we may employ and share your personal information with vendors under our control who use it solely to provide support for the internal operations of the Sites (e.g., technical support and network delivery). These entities will not use your personally identifiable information for any other purpose, and have agreed to maintain the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the personal information they obtain from us.

Streamframe may contact you, by e-mail or other means, for instance, Streamframe may send you promotional e-mails relating to Streamframe or other third parties Streamframe feels you would be interested in, or communicate with you about your use of the Sites. However, we do not send unsolicited e-mails or sell any personal or contact information. Streamframe may also use technology to alert us via a confirmation e-mail when you open an e-mail from us. You can modify your e-mail notification preferences by clicking the appropriate link included in the footer of e-mail notifications. If you do not want to receive e-mails from Streamframe, please opt out at the bottom of any Streamframe e-mails or by editing your profile preferences.

 

We do not share your personal information with third parties. Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help us improve the Sites and services. However, we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures or use your personal information for improper purposes. You acknowledge that you provide your personal information at your own risk.

(6) Third party content

When you are using the Sites, certain content may be created or hosted by a third party. Such third parties may place cookies and/or use web beacons, which may be used to identify some of your preferences or to recognize you if you have previously had contact with them. We do not control the use of such technology by third parties, the information they collect, or how they use such information. Streamframe does not disclose your personally identifiable information to third parties serving ads or other content on the Sites.

 

(7) What is Streamframe’ policy regarding links to third party websites? 

You should be aware that while you are on the Sites, you may be directed to links to other websites. The privacy policies of these other websites are beyond our control and we take no responsibility for their practices. Because we cannot guarantee that the privacy policies of these websites meet our high standards, we recommend that you read the privacy policy of the website to which you link before you submit any personal information.

 

(8) Can I access my personal information?

If you wish to review or update any personal information that we may have collected about you, please feel free to update it on the Sites.

 

(9) What safeguards does Streamframe use to protect my personally identifiable information?

We employ industry standard techniques and maintain appropriate safeguards that ensure the security, integrity and privacy of the personally identifiable information we collect from all users. Any user account is password protected. Personal information collected by us is stored in secure operating environments that are not available to the public and are only accessible by authorized Streamframe employees, subsidiaries or affiliates. We also have security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. If you request to have your personal information deleted or destroyed we will take reasonable measures to comply with such request.

 

(10) What are my privacy rights if I am located outside the United States of America?

Streamframe makes an effort to protect the personally identifiable information of all users of the Sites. We attempt to comply with local data protection and consumer rights laws to the extent they may apply to Streamframe’s services. If you are uncertain whether this Privacy Policy conflicts with the applicable local privacy laws where you are located, you should not submit your personally identifiable information to Streamframe. If you are located within the European Union, you should be aware that your personally identifiable information will be transferred to the United States of America, the laws of which may be deemed by the European Union to have inadequate data protection. (12) Changes in the Streamframe Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time without notice. If we change our Privacy Policy, we will post those changes on the Sites so that you and other users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. It is your responsibility to periodically check our Privacy Policy for changes.
